I have a passion for enjoying great food with my family and friends. As a youngster I was always grilling at the family picnics and knew I wanted to pursue a career in the hospitality field. After many years working as a Paramedic | Firefighter (of course I was the station chef) I attended The Restaurant School in Philadelphia and earned my culinary degree. I then worked for more than 10 years in high volume themed restaurants in the Washington, DC and Baltimore area as I was formulating my plan to open a restaurant that had great comfort food, with a casual environment at an affordable price. Kloby’s Barbeque was found, now known as Kloby’s Smokehouse, BBQ Restaurant and Catering.
